The luncheon will provide a mid-year update to the 2008 economic forecast as well as a three-year Anchorage economic outlook.

Andrew L. Shapiro, bestselling author, journalist and the talent behind GE's award-winning, multi-billion dollar "ecomagination" initiative will speak at the luncheon, and will share his insights on the business benefits of and opportunities in environmental investments. Mayor Mark Begich will also present his views on the Anchorage economy.
